On April 19th, 1943 Albert Hoffman dosed himself with an 250 micrograms of Lysergic Acid Diethylamide-25, or LSD as is commonly known. He had discovered the substance five years earlier, but it kept calling him to dig deeper. He credits the drug for discovering him. That day, he rode home from work on his bicycle, and had the first full blown acid trip, setting the wheels of history into motion.
This is my re-interpretation of the classic Bicycle Day blotter art, which I like to roll out for the Holidaze, April 19th and 20th, Bicycle day and 420 respectively.
